Mounir Al Serawan is a film & TV director living in Dubai - UAE.

He was born in Syria, after the Syrian war and the destruction of his home, his family immigrated to Lebanon when he was twelve years old.

At the age of fifteen, Mounir started his passion for the arts.

He learned storytelling, filmmaking, editing, photography, videography, graphic design, acting, theatre, classical ballet dancing, and opera singing.

He graduated from the American University of Science & Technology in Beirut. With a BA in Film & TV Production.

​

After the Lebanese revolution and the 4th of August explosion, at the age of twenty-three, he moved to Dubai to work as a freelance director.

​

Currently, Mounir holds fifteen international Official Selections, and six international awards, three of them for "Best Director."

​

 Mounir learned how to survive and heal traumas through art.

He believes that the best way to live the true human experience is by art.
